What Causes Pressure On Rib Cage While Climbing Stairs?

When going up the stairs I have pressure under the bottom of the rib cage on both sides and shortness of breath. My blood pressure reads 137/74 and pulse is 66. This does not normally happen to me. I am a 58 year old male. I exercise regularly and had quintuple bypass surgery 3 1/2 years ago. I saw my cardiologist 3 months ago and received a clean bill of health from him.

Hi,

Reduce the time and exertion of exercise.

You can do morning walk.

Have balanced diet including seasonal fruits.

Avoid smoking and alcohol.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.
