What Causes Pricking Pain On The Breast?

I am having a pins and needles with a feeling of warmth in my left breast. I had a mammogram 8 months ago which came back okay, and my doctor has done a breast exam twice, then ordered a chest X-ray , but have not gotten the results yet. What could be causing this?
