Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. She is possibly suffering from vascular dementia.
2. She will need medication like Aricept to improve cognition.
3. Caretaker round the clock is necessary to take care of personal care, feeding and regular activities.
4. Family support is necessary for her. Involvement in social activities and being around wound be helpful to her. Need to check hemoglobin levels and serum proteins - If low, will need to concentrate towards it.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
