What Causes Pubic Area Itching And Greenish Brown Discharge In A Child?
My daughter is 12 years old and just had a bladder infection. She was given the antibiotic keflex, she finished it and the infection cleared. It s been about a week and since then she has been itchy in her private areas and now she had a greenish/brownish discharge. Is this something to do with the antibiotic?

This is likely a yeast infection, often seen in women after a course of antibiotics
She can try Lamisil ir Monistat for it before seeing a doctor about it if it doesn't clear
