What Causes Puffiness In The Lower Eyelid Despite Using Teva-Cephalexin?

For three weeks a eye problem.Lower lid very itchy and swollen.The tear duct red and a little swollen.Went to the doc three times and was given antibiotic cream then a med called TevaCephalexin.Gor Crusty and now a big puffy bag under my eye.What to do.Tried warm water on cloth!

I would explain that your symptoms could be related to a lacrimal duct infection or blockage.

I agree with the antibiotic ointment recommended by the ophtalmologist.

But, I would not recommend hot packs on this region, as they may exacerbate the inflammation. Cold packs instead can be more helpful, in reducing the swelling.
