What Causes Puffy Eyes In Children?

My 2 year old daughter likes to eat ice chips daily....she has also been very tired...i recently noticed she will chew off parts of her books and cannot color with out eating her crayons....her eye lids have been puffy also....can you please give me an idea of what may be the problem if any??

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

These are the symptoms of anemia and worm infestation. It is called PICA. But the red herring is puffiness of eyelids winch is very unusual in anemia and pica. You can de-worm her with Albendazole and start using iron supplements, but i strongly suggest you see your pediatrician.
