I feel my abs pulsating frequently which then cause the abs to charlie horse so bad that it actually pops out and causes severe pain. After several minutes of rubbing it, I am able to push it back in place. It is NOT a hernia since I had that already checked. I feel this every day but it doesn t pop out all the time. It feels like my stomach is always pulsating. I can also place my hand on my stomach and when I do, it tends to pulsate to that area. I also get a hardening of a muscle just under my left rib cage that also pulses uncomfortably. This has been going on for a long time but recently has increased in frequency. I m 59 years old, healthy, active. I m take Nexium, blood pressure pills for high blood pressure (can t remember the generic name- Avapro), Tricor (the generic version) and Crestor. What could it be? It is extremely uncomfortable when it pulsates and the pops out.
