What Causes Pungent Smell To The Urine Of A 2 Month Old?

My 2.5 month old breastfed babies urine smells strange. I don't know how to describe it...but its almost like a metallic/chemical smell. He also seems to be fully saturating more diapers than normal with urine which is clear, maybe just a slight yellowish tinge. (he also has not pooped on his own since his two month shots 2 weeks ago, i have had to give him supps 3 times). I'm concerned.

Pediatrician 's  Response
hello there, thanks for your query i would like to have some details like time since he is having some problem , feverish or not, irritability, vomitting. If the child has fever and at the same time his urine smells stronger than usual, the risk of having a urine infection is a little bit increased compared to a child not having smelly urine.
If any of above symptoms are not there it can simply due to multivitamins drops or dehydration (less feeding may be the cause).
But as you say he is passing adequate amount of urine so it is clear that dehydration and infection are less likely here.
Let me know other details i asked, thanks.
Wish your baby healthy childhood.
