What Causes Purple Bruise In Legs And Arms?

About a month ago, I would wake up with a purple bruise on my leg every day for a few days. They eventually went away so I didnt think much of it. But a few days ago, it started again on my arms. Is this normal? The ones on my arms started purple then went to dark brown within a day or two.

Hi,

It may be ecchymosis. Minor trauma might precipitate the condition. Blood tests may be done to find out the internal cause. Apply thrombophob ointment, whenever,it occurs.Take vitamin C and vitamin K tablets for long time. Avoid friction and trauma to the skin.

Hope this helps.
