What Causes Pus Cells In Urine?

hi, good evening sir my mother is suffering frm uti infection and the reports of routine urine says that pus cells count is 40_45 ....in the beginnenig it was 80_100....then after a treatment under nephrologist it came down to 20_25and now again it is 40_45 .....so pls advice that wat steps to be taken and what is the cause of this ....pus cells.....?? thank you

Hello,

The pus cells in urine can be related to a urinary tract infection.

I suggest using a cycle of antibiotics such as Augmentin.

I also suggest to drink liquids and especially cranberry juice for relieve.
