Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have been having some troubled pains in my right ankle. It happens when I push lightly on it or extend my foot. Also, it is going throughout my whole leg and foot. And slowly is starting to happen on my left leg. Do you know what it might be?
Your symptoms could be related to a bulging disc in the lumbar vertebral column, which is causing irradiating nerve pain in the legs. I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and an X-ray study of the lumbar vertebral column. Further tests may be needed. You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
