What Causes Radiating Pain From Indented Shin Down To Leg And Toes?

I m a lacrosse goalie and I got hit in the shin. I can walk fine but my shin seems to be indented. When my shin gets rubbed up against something, a dull, lingering pain shoots down my leg (from the indent) all the way down to my toes. What s wrong with it? There s no bruising or swelling.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear Patient.
the indentation you are talking about, is visible on an X Ray also, because such lesions are not very common, and the cause of symptoms seems to be in the spine rather than the local region, you will need help of a spine surgeon and get your self evaluated, and take appropriate treatment for the condition.
Thanks
