What Causes Raised Red Bumps In All Members Of The Family?
My 18month old son, 9year old step daughter and myself have raised red bumps with white dry centers. They itch, but don t seem to be spreading. My husband doesn t have them so I m sure they re not contagious. I have them the worst. I have about 10 on my neck 4on my left arm and two on my stomach and 1 on my right arm. My son has about 9on his left thigh and 1 on his back and 2 on the side of his face. My step daughter has three on her chest and two on her arm. We haven t had any fevers or vomiting. Everyone feels fine we are just itchy. We ve checked for bed bugs, no fleas and we don t think it s chiggers. Do you have any idea what it could be and a safe natural way to treat it.
As per your case history, you are having scabies, my treatment advice is - 1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily. 2. Apply a 5 percent permethrin lotion from neck to bottom once a week. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral ivermectin given only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
