What Causes Rashes After Taking Medications For Typhoid?

Hi doctor , i m 20 years old i got typhoid 8 months ago i contacted a physician , he didnt give me injection . He refered cefixime and azithromycin tablets .allercet tablets i got well after completing but still some days i got headach . Fever in the morning . This is going on for last 8 months . I drink beer sometimes . I had rashes to. Plss suggest me what should i do . It has been 8 months now

It may be related to fever. Sometimes rashes are associated with fever. You also need to go for the complete liver evaluation and that will make it clear if there is some issue with the Hepatobiliary system as that is also a cause of fever and rash in alcoholics.


You need some tests from laboratory:-
LFTs
HBsAg and Anti.HCV both by ELISA.
Ultrasound of right upper quadrant of abdomen with special focus on liver, bladder and biliary passageways.

I refer you to consult a Gastroenterologist for proper evaluation and treatment as needed.
