What Causes Rashes On The Upper Part Of The Body With Persistent Cough?
i think have a rash on my shoulders, face and chest. it is very itchy and has red little bumps and i have been coughing alot. the cough lasted for about 8 months, i have taken numerous blood test for stds and and they all came back negative, i have do not know what this is or what to do about this no one can tell me what i need to do or what direction to go?
You seem to have developed an allergic skin disease due to a respiratory viral infection. Such a skin rash commonly occurs during the course of cough and cold. It starts from face and neck and tends to progress downwards. You should avoid applying any kind of skin irritants like dettol, spirit over it.
You might need to apply a calamine cream over the affected area twice a day for few days. Take some oral antihistamines along. See a nearby dermatologist if the condition tends to persist despite this therapy.
Hope it helps,
