What Causes Raw Patches On Clitoris Post Recovery From A Vaginal Thrush?

Hi, my vaginal opening was very itchy and I noticed while shaving I had a few bumps. I looked at the area and it was very red, I told my mum and she said it could be thrush so she gave me some cream. After applying for a few days it seemed to have gone. After sexual intercourse the rash came back so I put some more cream on and the rash disappeared however the skin on my clitorus is like dead skin and peeling off. What should I do?

Hello,

It is just a post-infective inflammation.

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like Betamethasone for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
