What Causes Rectal Bleeding After Bowel Movement?
went to the bathroom this morning and after movement there was blood in the bowl and blood on the paper. (does happen maybe once every 6 months) was a bit constipated prior to this. 40 year old male, 173cm 68kgs no family history. drink fibre drink every morning

I appreciate your concern, the most common cause of blood stained stool is the constipation that might developed the anal fissures or hemorrhoid.
The first thing you need to do is to relieve the constipation, and for that drink more water, have more fiber containing diet, keep the regular habit for defecation, even in absence of need of this, be inside and do not exert the force, you can try Isabgol powder, if this is the fissures or hemorrhoid then it needed the surgery.
