What Causes Rectal Itching With Bloody Stool?

I have gained 90 lbs. In 9 months. I have incontinence but now I am having problems with my rectum. It itches constantly then becomes very sore.I have black stools and it hurts to wipe it.sometimes it is bloody. It hurts even when I wash it. In the past three months I have defaecated in public three times. Help me please ..

Hi thanks for contacting HCM..

Here rectal or anal cause has to be ruled out first ....

Consult surgeon for your proctoscopy examination to reveal piles , proctitis, anal inflammation or rectal ulcer if present ....

For it stool softener given ....
More water .
Excess spicy foods avoided ...
Anal area hot water sitz bath useful....
Avoid straining at stool.
Avoid scratching in that area .....

If piles there and conservative treatment not helpful than banding like procedure needs to be done ...

If above cause absent further work up done with stool examination and culture and USG abdomen....
