What Causes Recurrent Fever, Cold And Cough Despite Taking Meftal And Allegra?
Hi Doctor, My kid is 5 year old with 25 kg weight. He is having fever from last 3 days. Fever gradually increases and once it is above 100 degrees, he starts shivering and then fever is going upto 103 degrees. He also has lots of cold and cough. I am giving him 8 ml crocin DS and then 8 ml meftal P for fever and 5 ml allegra for cold and cough. It is not improving. Are these symptoms of malaria? Do I need to change the medicine? read ur problem,and found that he has might be urinary tract infection, malaria and viral fever.u didnt tell that the fever is coming alternate days or regular or everytime or morning evening,any problem in urination or burning micturion and headache .dont give crocin and meftal p altogether.cough is productive and non productive?consult ur GP and ask for investigation like ps for mp,ESR, tlc,Dlc, urine random
