Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of chronic arthritis. I recommend performing a knee joint X ray study and some inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR) in order to determine the cause of your symptoms. Consulting with an orthopedist is necessary. In the meantime, I recommend putting ice on it during the pain and taking AINS.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
