What Causes Recurrent Swelling In Bilateral Lower Extremities And Progressive Migraine?

hello, my brother has been having his bilateral lower extremities swell off and on for over 6 months, as well as severe migrainr lasting days. He has no health insurance and is not on his feet for long periods of time. He does not drink alcohol, or any drugs however takes over the counter pain medicine. He is 37. Approximately 4-5 months ago I paid for him to see a doctor who obtained some labs and an ultrasound of his heart, nothing found??? Today this is day 10 of his migraine he said worse he has ever felt his legs /feet are easily +4 pitted edema bilaterally his abdomen is distended and I cannot get him to go to the E R because he does not want to be stuck with the financial responsibility please help!

due to overuse of pain killer she might hav renal injury which may leads to loss of protein called albumin.the deficiency of it in blood leads to swelling of abdomen and feet .get her urine examination ,renal function test,serum albumin level
