What Causes Recurring Bouts Of Fainting With Severe Chest Pain?

I had chest pains that hurt from on a scale of 1-10, easily a 10. My back, stomach, and chest hurt and I went unconscious several times and the one time I passed out I hit my head on the floor. What could have been the cause of why this episode happened?

Hello,

You need to be evaluated by a cardiologist as soon as possible to rule out serious arrhythmia as these symptoms could be due to heart related illnesses. Heart arrhythmias can compromise blood supply to brain which can trigger fainting episodes. Till your complete evaluation, keep yourself fully hydrated.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
