What Causes Recurring Bouts Of Vomiting, Diarrhea And Fever?

I have been sick since last Monday, vomiting, diarrhea & fever 101.6 for 3 days, now it s Sunday and still do not feel well. Stools are clay color for the last 3 days. My gallbladder was removed 2 years ago. Should I be concerned? I was sick the end of January with the same ailments.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Clay color stool denotes an obstruction to bile duct. Direct and indirect bilirubin as well as ultrasound abdomen should be done intially to get the status. In case of any obstruction found it should be cleared surgically. Endoscopic or laparocopic approaches are used according to the status of obstruction. A consultation with a Gastroenterology surgeon is well appreciated.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
