What Causes Recurring Loose Motions Followed By Fever?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... My son is suffering from loose motions (watery) follwed by fever since 2 days. he was given some lactic acid medicines along with paracetomal tablets. It was under control for a day and now it is recurring? He is 11 year old and kindly suggest me a medicine and do the needul sir.

Hello,

He may develop acute gastroenteritis due to a viral or bacterial origin. Apply tepid sponging, give soft diet and ORS sachets. Continue paracetamol, if symptoms not improved, please consult your pediatrician he will examine and treat him accordingly.
