What Causes Recurring Pain Around Navicular Bone On Foot?

I have intense burning pain around the navicular bone in my left foot just above the arch area. It is not constant, but it has been reoccurring for over two years. I ve been to several doctors , received cortizone shots and pritizone pills. Short relief, if any. Have also had xrays that don t show a fracture. Any thoughts as to what could be causing this pain?

Hello, Thanks for your query. After going though your query I think you may be suffering from stress fracture in any bone of foot. They are not visible in x ray .Treatment of this is rest to foot and analgesic (Diclofenac). These are to be taken after consulting a doctor. You can get your bone scan of foot done to exclude them.I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.Take care
