What Causes Recurring Pain In Abdomen With Urge For Frequent Bowel Movement?

I have abdominal pain that comes and goes in waves, nausea, the feeling of having to poop constantly. I recently had a black bowel movement, and I can t eat or drink anything because I feel full, and nauseus right away. What could be causing this problem?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

We are pleased to welcome you at Ask A Doctor services.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

Most likely intestine infection through some sort of bacteria or virus which may be ingested from contaminated food, water or uncleaned hands.

Basic care with hydration (with oral rehydration salt), hygiene and supportive care of GI specific antibiotic, probiotics will remain gold standards of the therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
