What Causes Red And Warm Knees After Having Shower With Warm Water?

When I shower with warm water and I step out my knees are red and warm and they stay like that for more than 10 minutes. It happened to me also when I was cooking and stading in front of the stove and when I finished and sat down noticed my knees red and warm. Why is this happening?

Hello,

Having warmth in the knee can be soft tissue inflammation. But we need to consider some of the criteria here, like knee pain, your age, any knee injury, twisting, etc.

Without having a detailed history we cannot tell if it's OA or Ligament injury.

Having a detailed history along with an x-ray should allow us to help you serve better.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
