What Causes Red Blood In Stool With Stomach Cramp?

This would be the second episode in a month that i have had an intense urge to use the bathroom and had loose stools with a large amount of bright red blood that stained the toilet. Just a wee bit concerned I have had some stomach cramping and nausea with it as well that usually clears up about 30 minutes after each episode. Please advise
