General Surgeon 's  Response
HI.
The red blotches at the back of the throat are called a type of Granular Pharyngitis. The appearance itself suggests that this is in the chronic stage and there may be a primary cause in the vicinity lied caries tooth, tonsillitis or sinusitis. Simply having mouth wash does not help in any way.
I would advise you to consult an ENT surgeon to get to the rot cause and get proper investigations and a long course of treatment for the granular pharyngitis and the root cause.
IN occasional cause we have to do cauterization if the medical management fails.
