What Causes Red Blotchy Spots On Shin After Ankle Sprain?

I sprained my ankle 11 days ago...xrays were done. Nothing showed broken. Today the swelling is better than it has been BUT now I have a rash going up from my heel to less then mid calf and I also have red blotchy spots on my shin. Should I be concerned?

These are normal changes to occur after ankle sprains .Nothing much to worry about .You may take rest along with limb elevation and applications of thrombophob ointment .
