I have a dark red/purple bruise on my back it popped up last night. there is no reason for to be there its not causing any pain. The reason i am concerned is due to some other health issues i have going on right now that my doc is having a hard time pin pointing.
Red bruise on the back is commonly due to blunt trauma or injury. Apply ointment Thrombophob in the affected area to treat the blood clots that cause blockage of the veins & disrupts the blood circulation.
Such bruises can also be due to purpura or petechiae. Bleeding or clotting disorders may cause it, eg. thrombocytopenia, hemophilia, etc.
Certain cancers like Hodgkin's disease, leukemia or multiple myeloma may present with such symptoms.
Avoid exposure to sun rays. You are suggested to visit a dermatologist & get physically examined.
Get all required tests & investigations done & get treated at the earliest. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.
