Hallow Dear,
Condom is made of latex rubber. Latex rubber when comes in contact with any inner lining (
mucous membrane) causes swelling of the mucous membrane and subsequently may lead to infection.
Occasionally, during intercourse with condom on, particularly if the insertion is a blind insertion, the penis with condom may touch the urinary opening which is situated right under the
clitoris. This leads to inflammation of urinary opening which may ascend up reaching right upto kidneys, which then is termed as
Honeymoon pyelitis.
You seem to have swelling of the urinary outlet along with clitoral swelling. Local soothing agents may help to some extent, however you may need some antibiotics if infection has set in. It could be even
fungal infection which may require antifungal treatment and may get worsened with antibiotics. Please report to your Gynaecologist ASAP.
For the time being, some Lactobacilli perineal wash like Lactacyd may help you to get some relief.
Please avoid local irritation by clothes.
Till you are completely cured, please observe complete sexual abstinence.
