Hello Sir/Madam
This is a normal phenomenon in any child when new feeds are started. The stools begin to change in colour, consistency and odour after new diet is started. But i think it is too early to start ragi in foods for your child. You can stop it now and retry after 11 months of age when the intestines would have become more mature to handle food.At present continue cereals, breast feeds and any other formula feeds you have been giving. When you start any other new food give 2 weeks gap before starting one another.
If you have any further doubts,I'll be happy to help you.
