What Causes Red Painful Sores On The Mouth Despite Being Treated For Crohn S Disease?

Hello. I have Crohn s and am in remission. However, I have noticed in the last few weeks that I am getting these red, circular, slightly painful sores in my mouth. There is a rather large one on the inside of my bottom lip that my lower teeth rub on all the time. They are not filled with fluid but just slightly raised circular patches. I am currently not on an medication for my Crohn s too.

Hi.
Thanks for your question.
The ulcers you are getting are called the aphthous ulcers. These are coming due loss of integrity of the mucosa meaning it looses the strength die to inability of the intestines to absorb essential nutrients needed for strong mucosa and skin.
In your case this is due to Crohn's.
Treatment:
Vitamin A and D in therapeutic dosages. To be contued with multivitamins, folic acid vitamin C, lycopene and Ginseng and anything else as per the clinical evaluation and lab reports.
