What Causes Red Patches In The Stool?

Hi i am 18, for weeks now i have noticed red rubber looking pieces in my stools and when i wipe. I think i have IBS as well. I do not eat the same thing everyday - my diet is quite healthy. It is not from the outside it is definatley in my stools. I have taken a 3 day blood in stool test but came back negative. I just had a bowl movement and the whole stool this time had bright red patches all around it. I am quite concered as so much is wrong with me. What could it be if its NOT blood or could it be blood but wasnt shown on the test? Please help
