What Causes Red Rash Along With Wrinkled Skin On Wrist?
A red and white bumpy rash came out of no where yesterday morning and I also have some wrinkle looking marks on my left wrist.. What is it? I took benadryl and it seemed to calm it down a little but still have itchiness and redness and bumps today.
You are having red rash with wrinkled skin on the wrist. You are suggested to wash your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap. Take regular bath / shower. Always change your clothes at least once a day. Do not share your toiletries with anyone. Avoid sharing your towels or clothes. Wear loose fitting soft cotton clothes. Such symptoms commonly occur due to an allergic reaction. You can take non sedating antihistamines, once daily for 3-5 days.
It will help to reduce itching and spread. You can apply hydrocortisone ointment on the affected area for relief. If you ain't getting relieve, it can be scabies also. You can apply Ascabiol lotion on the affected area, keep it for 40minutes and then wash it thoroughly. Repeat after 15-20 days if it recurs. Get clinically examined by a Dermatologist to rule out eczema, bacterial/viral infection or autoimmune disease.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
