What Causes Red Spots In The Mouth And Fever In A Child?
my 12 year old daughter has some kind of irritation, small red spots on the roof of her mouth and some going down her throat, also on the back and sides of her toung. It started a couple days ago but she did not have a fever until today. presently fever is 101.8 orally. It doesnt look like strep to me?

Its quite common to see ulceration in oral cavity in children during febrile episode. Its apthous ulceration.
Local application of Benzocaine ointment and Vitamin supplement will be helpful.
