What Causes Red Spots On Back And Torso During Cold?

Hi, my baby who is 8 1/2 months has developed red spots all over her back and torso. She is teething and has had a cold in the past week. I am wondering if the spots are just part of the cold virus running through her body or if it is something more serious that I should be concerned with?

Pediatrician 's  Response
no definite opinion can be made out but it seems the baby has a viral exanthem (viral rash) which is a transient feature and does not need an intervention unless some other symptoms become visible. In that case it will be advisable to take an opinion of a pediatrician
