What Causes Red Spots On Penis Post Sex?

I recently began engaging in sex again after about a year and a half dry spell. The first few weeks, things were normal. Then about 10 days ago, I noticed little red dots/spots/bumps on the head of my penis, maybe 4 or 5 of them. They were not in cluster, but just randomly spread out. There was also redness on the pulled back foreskin (uncircumcised). I decided to improve my hygiene after getting some info online and it improved. I went about 4 days without having sex, then reengaged and it was fine. Then a few days later, we had sex again and now the bumps are back and there are more of them than before, as well as some bumps with a white 'head' like on them, again randomly scattered where the head meets the shaft. There is no itching or burning of any kind. The sex has been unprotected. What is the most likely diagnosis? Thank you for your time.

Hello sir and welcome.

The fear of this being an STD can be ruled out only to a certain extent as this appearance is more common when the female partner has some form of a urinary infection (bactrtial UTI, yeast infection, etc.). Speak to your partnet and ask her if she has any symptoms like frequent urination, burning sensation while urinating, urge to urinate but very less urine being passed, lower abdominal and/or back pain, etc.

If she does, then you will also need a course of the medications she is on, if not then you will have to undergo an STD-panel after a physical examination by your doctor.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
