What Causes Red Streaks In The Throat After A Tonsillectomy?
Hi, I had my tonsillectomy eXactly one week from today. I ve spit very little blood today, nothing serious. And on the back wall of my throat I can see with flashlight red streaks ruining down my throat, looks like where I can see a little blood. Also on my uvula , I have one little white circle filled in. I wanna make sure I m ok. Please get back . - rob
After conventional tonsillectomy surgery because of surgical trauma you may have redness of your throat which is not rare. You will be between of these symptoms in 7 to 10 days. Do gargles properly, maintain your oral hygiene and drinks lots of water frequently, you will be better.
