What Causes Red To Purple Line On The Belly To Chest In Babies?

My 1yr old has had a red line on his belly up to his chest for the past few days today I noticed its now purple there is no indent as of he scratched himself n ita not juice he is not action like himself has had night fevers n now he is feeling cool n sweating sleeping more then usual today n not playing or eating well. Should i go to the er or does it sounds like i can wait to go to the dr in the morning

By what you quote I thin it could be a serious bacterial infection as he is cool/ sweating and with night fevers and abnormally sleepy. It could be a meningococcal infection too. I suggest you take him to emergency room immediately.
