What Causes Reddish Liquid Diarrhea?

I have a complex medical hex significant for malabsorption, total colectomy, small bowel dysmotility, recurrent small bowel bacterial overgrowth and recurrent c-diff. I am currently on week 5/7 of a vancomycin taper after 3 attempts to clear with flagyl did not work. Question: last few days reddish liquid diarrhea, SOB, I feel feverish but my temp is only ranging from 93 to 95, normal for me is 97. Any ideas? Should I call my doctor? I had my gall bladder out 4 weeks ago.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your complex history. Malabsorption, total colectomy, reddish liquid diarrhea and recurrent small bowel overgrowth, had cholecystectomy too.
I would advise you the following:
Stool tests for 3 consecutive days and blood culture tests.
Thyroid function tests as hyperthyroidism can cause this.
Pre and probiotics in proper dosages.
Activated charcoal tablets helps a lot.
Diet as suits your bowel.
Continue Vancomycin.
