I had a thyroidectomy 6 years ago and have since notice a red rash on my neck. It is in the front of my on both sides of my windpipe. It doesn't itch, but looks more red at different times. I brought it to the attention of my doctor and he apparently did a blood test for auto immune diseases, but said nothing to me. I am currently taking Synthroid and Cytomel and my levels are good. Is this indicative of an auto immune disease or something else?
Thanks for asking. few queries Any associated weight gain/ hairloss/ tiredness/ constipation? *Any history of recurrent fever / thyroid pain/ eye pain / bulging eye ball/ tiredness?
