What Causes Redness And Burning Sensation In The Tongue Post Gastric Sleeve Surgery?

I had gastric sleeve surgery going on 3 weeks. I can only have sugar-free everything plus all liquids like cream soups, popsicles, hello, pudding, protein drink, decaf tea, decaf coffee. My tongue is burning, skin off the inside of my lips, and the sides of my tongue is red and hurts a lot. Is this from the sugar-free foods or is from having the sleeve surgery?

I really appreciate your concern, the given condition could be due to stomatitis and most of the time it is due to folic acid deficiency, some time it could be due to some dental infection condition needs to be ruled out for both of this but it may not be due to sugar free diet, along with this fungal infection of oral cavity also needs to be seen hope this information helps.
