What Causes Redness And Dryness On The Cheeks With A Sore Lip?

Hello. My 5 year old boy has red dry skin on his cheeks. He has had a sore lip for a few weeks now, but seems to have developed a dry skin on his cheeks. Have been putting moisturiser on but don't seem to be fairing. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks

From your description what I can make out is that your child is having eczematous dermatitis. It needs low potency steroid application in very small amounts locally for 7 days and then taper off. Simultaneously good moisturizer should applied daily 3 times a day.No touching or kissing on face.Kindly consult dermatologist. It takes longer time to go
