What Causes Redness And Swelling Of One Breast?

My friend told me that one of her breast is red and swollen also one breast is larger than the other. She had breast cancer about 12 years ago. She has an appt. at the end of June. Don t you think she should get an appt. asap. Please answer. Cora. I did not know that I have to pay for an answer.

In a patient of breast cancer if one of the breasts is red and swollen then it is definitely a cause for concern and your friend should immediately consult her oncologist. It could possibly mean the return of her cancer. However it may be nothing but a localised infection. This issue can only be settled by seeing an oncologist and this needs to be done asap.
