What Causes Redness On Stomach Area?

my son, who is 3 and half years old, has bulg in his left stomach and the area around is red. he is only complaining of pain in that are when someone touches it, otherwise he is in a good health and very active. should i take him to a doctor immediately or what should i do?

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be developing furuncle on the site producing redness,swelling and tenderness.
He might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days after consulting your doctor.
Apply ice pack on the part.
