What Causes Reflux Esophagitis On Endoscopy?

Hi, I am 36, last month i had severe burning sensation in the stomach, underwent endoscopy, was disagnosed reflex,oesophagitis, the scan images show some fungal infection. I am not asmatic, no steroids or inhalers used. I keen to know what is the causative for this scenario. all blood investigations to check my immunity levels done turned out to be normal.

reflux esophagitis is due to reflux of acid and pepsin back to esophagus from stomach due to faulty gastroesophageal spinctor
