Hello ma'am and welcome.

It is standard instructions to abstain from all forms of sexual intercourse for until 2 weeks after the confirmation of successful treatment.

During this period, if at all sexual intercourse is practiced it can result in a reinfection. For now, a whole new course may have to be reinitiated.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
