What Causes Ribcage Aching And Pain, Back And Stomach Pain With Tenderness?

Hello Doc...Would like a little advice on wether to seek more immideate help. Was out late last night finished off with pizza early hours of the morning and kind of put the feelings I had down to heart burn... but, is getting worse and antacids taken half an hour ago haven t helped at all... Early hours of this morning I felt my bottom rib was aching, all the way along the bottom of the rib cage both sides. Now I have a sharp but non localised pain in my lower ribs, seems a little worse at the sides, sharp pain mid back, below shoulder blades and a little pain/tenderness at the top of my stomach, really is quite uncomforable... Coupled with all this I have slight nausea and seem to have some trapped wind more recently as well...

Hi thanks for asking question.

Here you could have gastritis or ulcerative disease of stomach that can lead to reffered pain in chest and rib cage.

If you have symptoms of common cold then viral infection can lead pain as constitutional symptom.It is treated symptomatically.

Here if your pain is severe and constricting type with sweating then ECG done to rule out ischemic heart disease like cardiac condition.

If still cause not clear chest x ray done.
This pain could be by inflammation like costochondritis.Rest and analgesic useful for it...
